Komponen bahasa tulis:
1. Letter (huruf)
2. Word (kata)
3. Phrase (frase)
4. Clausa (klausa)
5. Sentence (kalimat)

Phrase
       Phrase adalah rangkaian kata yang bermakna, tidak berpola S+V, melainkan H+M    (head + Modifier)
Head      : inti phrase (yang dijelaskan)
Modifier : penjelas head (yangg menjelaskan)
  Dalam english grammar phrase di bagi menjadi 9, berikut pembagiannya:
a. Noun Phrase (NP)
b. Adjective phrase (Adj P)
c. Adverbial phrase (adv P)
d. Verrb phrase (VP)
e. Prepositional phrase (PP)
f. To Infinitive Phrase
g. Participle
      - Past Participle Phrase
      - Present Participle Phrase
h. Gerund Phrase
i. Exclamatory Phrase
